I was recently asked to photograph a pop-up event on Clerkenwell Rd for Hendrick's Gin. The event which was in an old petrol station had an old train of curiosities, astro turf where Hendrick's bar staff throughout the UK alongside Hendricks company owners and enthusiasts played a hearty game or croquet! With the pig spit-roasting and the Gin filling every empty glass, the day really was a splendid success!

I made this little animation as part of my assessment for university to present my work in an interesting way. I play with narrative and objects and so created a playful reading, moving and leading the viewer through a story about the possibility of escaping the world for a moment to somewhere more enchanting! (Apologies for the quality, it was better on film than recorded digitally!) Enjoy!

The South London Gallery has been re-furbished and looks amazing, you are able to explore all floors including the spacious artist in residence flat on the top floor. Definately worth checking out, then sitting in the downstairs cafe and enjoying the cakes and tea! This is me next to the wall peice, one huge story and one small me!

So the end of year show finally arrived! My peice titled 'on my way', consisted of four stands which held a playful narrative, based on the idea of finding home or trying yo get home.
It was really interesting to see how people interacted with the work as you could walk through the stands. Feedback was all very good and people enjoyed the intricacy of the work. I was very pleased with how it all ended up! The show ends on Saturday and is open 11-4pm!

As our little studio was stripped down for a print exhibition ,we decided to decorate it with our own work!showing what we have been working on and having an open crit for any path way or viewer to come along and ask any questions or engage in critical discussions. The show transformed very well and nearly everody brought something along to show. The show extended another day and on the Wednesday after a lecture by Victoria from KALEID , Victoria was invited to view thw work. She was so impressed she offered us a slot in her project space in mid July! Good stuff.
